PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Stanozolol, an anabolic steroid, is a synthetic derivative of testosterone. It influences cholesterol levels by increasing low-density lipoproteins and decreasing high-density lipoproteins.

COMPOSITION:

Each tablet contains Stanozolol USP 10 mg

DRUG CLASS:

Classified as anabolic/androgenic steroids.

DOSAGE:

Use and supervision should be under the guidance of a physician or doctor. The most common dose prescribed is 20-50 mg daily for men, and 10-15 mg daily for women.

INDICATIONS:

Stanozolol is prescribed to manage Hereditary Angioedema by prophylactically reducing the frequency and severity of attacks.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Avoid the use of stanozolol in male patients with breast carcinoma or known/suspected prostate carcinoma, and in females with breast carcinoma accompanied by high blood calcium levels. Stanozolol may potentially stimulate bone resorption in some cases of hypercalcemia. Additionally, it's contraindicated in nephrosis or the nephrotic phase of nephritis.

SIDE EFFECTS AND PRECAUTIONS:

Hepatic complications such as cholestatic jaundice, rare occurrences of hepatic necrosis and fatalities, and reports of hepatocellular neoplasms and peliosis hepatis have been associated with prolonged use of androgenic anabolic steroids. Anabolic steroids can affect clotting factors, potentially suppressing factors II, V, VII, and X, leading to an increase in prothrombin time.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Stanozolol may enhance the sensitivity to anticoagulants. Adjustments in anticoagulant dosage might be necessary to maintain the desired therapeutic prothrombin time level.
