PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The tablets contain Oxandrolone, an anabolic steroid. Indications involve promoting weight gain after extensive surgery, chronic infections, or severe trauma. They are recommended for patients facing difficulties in gaining or maintaining normal weight without definite pathophysiologic reasons. Oxandrolone is used by bodybuilders for its muscle-building effects.

COMPOSITION:

Each tablet contains Oxandrolone USP at a concentration of 10 mg.

DRUG CLASS:

Classified as anabolic/androgenic steroids, synthetic derivatives of testosterone, exhibit both clinical effects and adverse reactions demonstrating their androgenic properties. However, a complete dissociation between anabolic and androgenic effects remains unachieved.

DOSAGE:

Use and supervision should be under the guidance of a physician or doctor. The most common dose prescribed is 20-40 mg daily for men, and 10-20 mg daily for women.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Avoid in cases of known or suspected prostate or male breast carcinoma. For females with breast carcinoma and hypercalcemia, the androgenic anabolic steroids may stimulate osteolytic bone resorption.

SIDE EFFECTS AND PRECAUTIONS:
