PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Ovigil 5000 iu Injection, comprising Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), is used to treat infertility in women and male hypogonadism, aiding in the release of eggs from the ovary in women and increasing testosterone levels in men. HCG is a gonadotropic hormone, primarily produced by the human placenta and excreted in urine. In women, it induces ovulation and stimulates estrogen and progesterone synthesis. In men, it stimulates spermatogenesis and sex steroid production. Post an anabolic steroid cycle, HCG helps the body to restore its natural testosterone production.

COMPOSITION:

Each milliliter of the reconstituted solution contains 5000 iu HCG.

DRUG CLASS:

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is utilized in bodybuilding alongside anabolic androgenic steroid use. It's a glycoprotein hormone typically produced by the placenta during pregnancy, encouraging healthy progesterone levels.

DOSAGE:

For men, administered intramuscularly, dosage individualized based on severity and age, typically ranging from 500 to 3000 iu daily. For women, induction of ovulation after follicular growth stimulation, dosage may vary from 500 to 3000 iu, depending on the menstrual cycle phase and estrogen levels. 

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Hormone-dependent tumors, organic cryptorchidism, hypersensitivity to human chorionic gonadotropin.

SIDE EFFECTS AND PRECAUTIONS:

In women, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome with ovarian cyst formation, ascites, hydrothorax, and thromboembolism risk. In men, temporarily reversible effects like breast enlargement, prostatic hypertrophy, fluid and electrolyte retention, and acne.
